Keely Barlow
Integrative Counsellor (MBACP)

About Me
I’m Keely — an integrative counsellor offering in‑person sessions in Sevenoaks, Kent, and online support across the UK. I provide a calm, grounded, and compassionate space where you can explore your inner world at a pace that feels safe for you.

I have a genuine passion for supporting people through their healing. I’m deeply curious about what shapes human behaviour, what wounds us, and what helps us grow. I’m especially drawn to trauma work and exploring the experiences we carry from the past. I have a particular interest in attachment styles and how our early relationships influence the patterns we repeat in adulthood. Together, we can explore your childhood, learned behaviours, and the beliefs you’ve carried with you, helping you develop greater self‑awareness and a deeper understanding of who you are.

My approach is gentle and attuned, and I’m led by your pace. When it’s helpful, I offer thoughtful challenge to support new insights and more balanced perspectives. I believe that talking therapy can help unlock deeply held emotions and create space for meaningful change. I recognise that every person is unique, and I meet each client where they are, with respect, compassion, and genuine understanding.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from both psychodynamic and person‑centred approaches, tailoring our work to your individual needs. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of what I do — a space where trust can grow, where you can feel truly heard, and where you can explore your experiences without judgement.

I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work within their ethical framework. My training includes a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Levels 2 and 3 in Counselling Skills and Studies, and additional training in trauma‑informed practice. I’ve worked with adults and adolescents in a range of settings, including rehabilitation centres, secondary schools, and low‑cost counselling services.

Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you — gently, steadily, and with curiosity — as you move toward greater clarity, connection, and self‑understanding.
